Builder Website OptimizationAnswers.com recently put the total number of websites on the Internet at 109.5 million. That’s a lot of sites! Some of those sties, of course, belong to contractors and builders. At a recent marketing webinar for builders and remodelers we found that 85 percent of the participants had active websites. Our guess is that—because these people build houses and not websites—most of them paid someone to build a website for them. And while the cost to build a website (like the cost to build a house) can vary pretty dramatically, we’re guessing it wasn’t an insignificant amount.
